Privacy Policy

The short version

PasteDrop collects as little data as possible. No accounts, no cookies, no tracking pixels. We don't sell your data to anyone.

What you paste

Content you drop is stored encrypted-at-rest in a Neon Postgres database. Every drop is automatically deleted after 24 hours. We don't read, index, or analyze your content.

IP addresses

Your IP address is hashed with SHA-256 and a rotating salt, then used solely for rate limiting. We never store your IP in plaintext. The hashed values are not linked to any content you create.

No accounts, no cookies

PasteDrop doesn't require sign-up. We don't set cookies, use local storage for tracking, or fingerprint your browser.

Analytics

We use Vercel Analytics, which is privacy-friendly and collects no personally identifiable information. No third-party trackers, no ad networks, no retargeting.

Third parties

We do not sell, share, or provide your data to third parties. Our infrastructure runs on Vercel and Neon, both of which process data under their own privacy policies.
