What is PasteDrop?

Paste any text, get a memorable 2-word URL, share it with anyone. That’s it. No sign-up, no app to install.

How long do drops last?

Every drop auto-deletes after 24 hours. No exceptions on the free tier. Pro plans will offer longer expiry windows.

Do I need an account?

No. Never. You paste, you get a link, you share. No email, no password, no OAuth pop-up.

Is my content private?

Drops are public by default — anyone with the 2-word URL can view them. Don’t share sensitive passwords or secrets. Password-protected drops are coming in the Pro tier.

What can I share?

Text, code, notes, links, prompts, error logs — anything you can paste. No file uploads yet, but that’s on the roadmap.

How do the 2-word URLs work?

Each drop gets two words picked from a curated wordlist of 3,000+ common English words. Every pair is unique. You get URLs you can say out loud, like "calm harbor" or "bright falcon."

Can I choose my own words?

Not yet. Custom word selection is coming in the Pro tier.

Is it free?

Yes. Free forever for personal use — 10 drops per day, 24-hour expiry. Pro and Team plans are coming for power users.

How do I report abuse?

Email abuse@pastedrop.ai with the drop URL and we’ll take it down.

Is there a CLI?

Coming soon. The goal: echo "hello" | curl -d @- pastedrop.ai/api/drop

Can I self-host it?

Not yet. We’re considering open-sourcing the core. If that matters to you, let us know.
